8th MSP BIENNIAL SCIENTIFIC MEETING

Welcome message from the President

Dear Colleague,

There is plenty of optimism ahead of us throughout 2022- 2024.  While slowly recovering from the Covid-19 pandemic crisis, we are hoping to revive and refresh. MSP needs to venture into a new era where strong collaborations are made with various stakeholders, international societies, and health industry partners to organize and participate in many events that will benefit the fraternity and at the same time promote periodontal and peri-implant health among dental practitioners and the general public. As a starter, our new logo symbolizes our effort to revive and refresh with a new look and which will also translate as the beginning of productive years ahead.

MSP has lined up a series of events – MSP roadshows in various cities throughout Malaysia, online study clubs where members share their clinical cases and experiences, community projects for the general public, and much more. The biggest event will be our long-awaited 8^th Biennial Scientific Meeting on the 3^rd– 4^th of June 2023 in Kuala Lumpur. We can meet old friends & make new friends, enjoy the presentations, discussions, and debates, share experiences, and above all express our common interests – periodontology and implant dentistry.

Let us work together on our common interest, based on our shared background and similar needs whether we are academicians, clinicians, or researchers, government-based or private sectors, we should not let our special or personal interests divide us. All of us need to work as a team to promote periodontal and peri-implant health in Malaysia and beyond…
